Staff Spaces

Most staff use their cars for lunch breaks.

We created separate areas for staff to eat lunch which, while necessary, impacted on social interaction for staff.

Staff canteens and changing rooms created for each floor during COVID. Kitchen area expanded to create sufficient distancing for all catering staff.

Lack of staff space forced staff in one case study site to eat their lunch and take their breaks in their cars.
